The Message-Gator

This little fellow was created to pass messages back and forth between Bixby's and Hobson's offices at the lab. They couldn't stand to be in the same room together. Bixby made it but Hobson trained it to bite the hand that tried to take the message out of it's mouth. The Message-Gator could get around quite well and had a good sense of balance but it had to keep moving in order to keep from falling over. Once it fell over it couldn't get back on to it's wheels on it's own. Bixby clubbed it to death after being bitten one too many times.

Reject #741

Another wheeled creature, the result of the spiteful Bixby-Hobson collaboration was the specimen at left. Bixby wanted to make a "wheeled man", and Hobson of course wanted to ruin it. Its right leg had a wagon wheel where the foot should've been. With its powerful legs this thing could really get around, despite having a hand where the left foot should've been. It had one pop-eye and no teeth, and with its tiny cranium there wasn't room for much of a brain. For no apparent reason, and without warning, it liked to scream at the top of its lungs. It was loud, fast, strong and a complete idiot. Bixby lost two toes to the steel tire of that wagon wheel.

Reject #587

This disgusting no-named creature was built out of left over parts from other experiment. The challenge was to see what they construct from the limited pool of parts. It appears they were indeed very short on parts. Within days of its creation this specimen developed a very large benign tumor on the right side of its head.

Experiment #47

Sparked by the cartoon image of the lightbulb over the character's head signifying the birth of an idea. Bixby and Hobson were soon arguing whether the was enough electrical energy running through the human brain to light a household lightbulb. Here we see the not-so-pleased looking result of that experiment. It appears that the bulb is lit. It's wattage is not known.
