The Lifeguard

Conceived as an "aquatic-tool", the Lifeguard was essentially a turtle without a shell with the addition of an extremely strong prehensile tail tipped with a human hand. It was christened the "Lifeguard" as a marketing ploy to counter its cold reptilian countenance. Roughly four feet long from nose to the tip of its tail, it possessed a might grip with its tail and was a powerful swimmer. I could be trained as a combination lifeguard, pool-cleaner, playmate. The Lifeguard, a vegetarian creature, was actually quite tame and easily trained. An average size lawn could provide enough food to feed it.

Dexter IV

This personal 'pet' of Chi's, created in the latter part of his career, was one of his finest. Surreal as this creation may be, Chi's exquisite attention to detail is quite amazing. Nearly a foot tall, a left human hand with one eye on the palm of the hand and another on the back of the hand. Incredibly, the pad of each digit of the hand bore a tiny human-like face. It's mouth was on the wrist, just below the thumb. It's six-inch tall torso had tiny humanoid arms and legs. Dexter and each face were capable of speech. The zipper in Dexter's chest is the result of the many organ transplants he'd undergone before he was perfected.
Here, Dexter is mounted on another of Dr. Chi's 'toy's. A tiny hippo-like creature, Chi created to amuse Dexter.
